Known as “golden tops” mushrooms, Golden teacher mushroom is a species of mushroom that is a potent source of the hallucinogenic agent psilocybin. P. cubensis are one of the most widely distributed hallucinogenic edible fungus types in the world, as well as one of the most potent.
Golden teacher mushroom are also known as goldies, cubes, cubies, boomers, caps, and gold caps, and were first recorded in the scientific literature in 1906 in Cuba.
